To schedule an appointment, you will need to make a payment to secure that time slot. I will send you an invoice email to complete these steps.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length. It will be an introduction/assessment to establish treatment goals and recommendations. Before services begin, we will review confidentiality and its terms.
Sessions will continue as you book a time slot. Steps to your goals will be carried out using talk and creative art therapy. At times you may have homework. If any case there is a crisis, I will follow protocol of assessing your situation and steps to stay safe.
Your progress will continue and be reviewed to see if anything needs to be adjusted.
CONGRATS! Once you met your goals, we will set up a discharge plan so you can continue to bloom without me. Therapy is meant to empower you to redefine your life and follow through with what you want, and how you want to go about it.
A consult with a therapist is a short meeting to determine if the therapist would be a good fit for you. Consultations are generally pretty informal. It’s a chance to get to know each other. It’s also a chance for the therapist to get a sense of what your presenting problem is and make sure they feel they can competently treat you. A therapist has an ethical duty to refer you to other therapists that they think would be a better fit for you if they don’t feel able to treat you.

A scheduled appointment means that time is reserved only for you. If an appointment is missed or canceled within less than 48 hours notice, full session a fee totaling the session applies. Client may receive a full refund as credit if cancellation was made within the 48 hour window (if there is a medial emergency after the 48 hour window, please notify me to arrange your credit accordingly).
